| On June 21 at the Central House of Russian Journalist Union, the presentation of a film “Before Flying Back to Earth”, by the film director Arunas Matelis was hosted. The event was initiated by the Lithuanian embassy in Russia, Mstislav Rostropovich Foundation and Russian Journalist Union. During the event, film director Arunas Matelis told about the general background of the film, shared new creative plans. Also several Russian volunteer programs was presented. One of the most important film’s "Before Flying Back to Earth” achievement as the Arunas Matelis identified is the fact that the film went beyond the boundaries of art and that it inspired a number of good actions, which regularly contributes to giving joy to the daily life of children that suffers from cancer The special guests of this event was the organization called “Doctor Clown”. Volunteers of this organization can help the doctor to lift the mood of young patients and help them to fight the disease. Fun games, tricks and many ideas, in which children can participate, significantly contributed to recovery, and sometimes do real miracles. Detailed description available in Russian.  |
